These tasks are waiting for you mainly
- You acquire new customers and maintain relationships with our existing customers. Because you know how valuable good customer loyalty and long business relationships are.
- In order to sell our software solutions, which require a lot of explanation, it is important for you to present the products clearly and to advise interested parties in the best possible way. At NIC-Place, it is important for us to see the customer as a whole so that we can take individual requirements into account.
- In cooperation with the internal sales team, you will accompany the entire process from the preparation of the offer to the conclusion of the contract. CRM systems such as Salesforce help you to maintain an overview at all times.
- With your deep customer understanding, you develop and manage targeted sales campaigns to win new customers.
- To ensure that we can continue to develop our products and delight our customers in the future, you monitor market developments and communicate industry and customer needs to our internal departments.
Your profile – what are we looking for
- Your successfully completed degree in business administration or business informatics or similar provides the perfect basis for the Sales Manager position, but are not a necessity.
- You already have (many years of) experience in selling SaaS products, especially for logistics, telematics or TMS systems, and have proven your negotiating skills. It makes no difference to you whether you communicate with interested parties in German or English.
- You are well connected in the logistics industry. At the best, your known network of transport companies, freight forwarders, logisticians, trade & industrial companies offers a basis for future business.
- To be successful in the field, your strengths include initiative and self-organisation as well as assertiveness.
- It is no problem for you to travel during the week to visit customers on site. Because for you it is clear that personal contact counts!
- It is an advantage if you already have knowledge of telematics, disposition or fleet management. If not, then you can of course learn that with us.

You manage to integrate our digital logistics solution at our customers in the best possible way in order to deliver the maximum added value for our users.

- As part of the Customer Service team, you solve and document the technical problems of our customers and ensure that even non-solvable tickets are solved as quickly as possible by passing them on to the development team.
- Customer loyalty starts with you: together with our sales team, you make sure that our customers love us.
- Thanks to you, every new customer receives perfect support right from the start. You ensure that the automated onboarding process for our platform runs seamlessly.
- You pass on your deep understanding of customer needs to internal stakeholders in order to optimally develop our corporate strategy and also the product itself.
- Through your precise analyses, sources of error in our digital logistics solution are immediately identified. In doing so, you optimise processes with the goal of keeping the “time-to-data” as short as possible.
- You implement or manage the integration of new service and sales processes and never lose sight of our corporate, sales and marketing strategies.
Your profile – what are we looking for
- You have already completed your education in computer science/information technology. Are you a career changer? You can also start with us with experience in the technical area, telephone support/helpdesk or in the logistics industry.
- In order to optimally support our international customers, it is easy for you to express yourself in English. If you also speak other Eastern European languages, that is an advantage!
- You don’t think of Python as a reptile and Java is no foreign word to you either.
- Customers come first for you and you manage to explain even complex topics in an easily understandable way.
- You want to help shape customer projects with your technical expertise, make our customers happy and are happy to master new challenges.
- You feel comfortable working in a team, but you also like to take the initiative yourself.

Your friendly and helpful character perfectly complements our team, so that all customer projects can be optimally advanced. In your job, you will provide support in various languages in finding solutions to technical issues and help with the integration and use of our online application.

- In the context of support cases, you will take over the independent support and solution of requests from our existing customers. You will carefully maintain our internal ticket system.
- Your language skills are valuable: You communicate with our international customers in various languages to understand and solve their questions and problems.
- You operate our software solution “blind”: you solve questions and problems pragmatically and support customers (proactively) in the onboarding process to start a digital collaboration as soon as possible.
- Existing, standardised processes and documents serve as a “guide” for you to solve support cases quickly and without in-depth technical knowledge.
