Sowmyan serves as Director & Head of PMO for FourKites, where he leads delivery transformation and program management for industry-leading visibility and machine learning platform for the supply chain industry. Prior to Fourkites, Sowmyan served as Account Delivery Manager for HP Inc, where he spent more than a decade heading complex programs and large transformations for its Fortune 50 CPG customers. He brings immense project and product management experience from his long stints with product companies such as Polaris, Deltatec. A planning and communication geek, and a project management expert, he is a “PMI India Sr. Champion” for his contributions to PM advocacy. In his 20+ years of career across HP and Polaris, he led global teams of 150+ across 5 countries focussing in CRM products, retail and financial verticals building cutting edge products and nurturing teams. His passion is to build highly motivated and customer-centric teams.
Sowmyan is a data science enthusiast and an alumnus of IIM Calcutta, where he was awarded semester topper in Business Analytics [EPBA], and holds a Master of Computer Applications from Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappalli.
