Kempten, Germany/Chicago, USA, June 18, 2018 –
Nicola Bolton will lead operations as President. Nicola has 20+ years experience in the logistics industry and has a unique understanding of how this technology can improve processes and simplify the data flow for shippers and logistics companies. “Her practical experience will prove an asset for US customers striving to improve data flows within their processes or to optimize various business scenarios along the supply chain”, says Pete Jendras, CEO, about hiring Bolton.
With the opening of the new location, the responsibles look forward too further internationalize NIC-place. NIC-place is now also available for North American shippers and logistic companies who struggle with disperse telematics dataflows and the demands of accurately sharing data with third parties. The platform aggregates and standardizes these data inflows for viewing on the NIC-place portal or for simple integration to internal systems. The data is embedded in the newly introduced marketplace where third parties make their added value partner services available with a simple eCommerce approach.
“NIC-place brings telematics and logistics data together, makes it easy to share and provides a marketplace of third party data service providers to add further value. We are convinced that fleets and logistics companies in North America also need a neutral platform to meet the requirements of the coming years.” says Jendras.
